This was the night of a full moon. We went down to the beach to capture the sunset on camera and canvas. It was an exceptionally high tide and we knew the water would cover the beach as the tide came in. So we moved up the path into the dunes. The sun went and down the colors increased. I started painting quickly responding to the constantly changing clouds and colors. During this sunset I made three paintings, changing my view for each one. It's exciting and challenging to paint sunsets on location because they happen so fast. Priced framed
