This plein air painting was done on location at the annual Melrose Bay paintout. It was a beautiful spring day and I was particularly inspired by this palm tree in the Melrose Gallery NW parking lot. I tried to capture the classic textures of the palm with the nice blue sky peeking through. The azaleas were in bloom and there was a verdant green about the landscape. This is an oil painting done on canvas panel, mounted and framed in an 8x10 natural wood frame. Price shown is unframed
