Above the Chama River is a studio painting in acrylic. Location sketches and a photo were used as the reference but mostly it was from memory of this location. On the road from Santa Fe to Ghost Ranch we crossed the River and pulled over. We were able to walk out on the ridge and get to this scene looking down on the river. I could have painted 12 pictures there but it was very cold windy in February so I had to settle for a few phone pictures. Priced unframed
